Infrastructure
KernHosting, KaisenVPN and KaisenPlay run on a shared technical foundation: group-owned servers in the nLighten FRA1 data center, connected via a redundant network.
Architecture
Data center, network and hardware – all managed by one team.
01 · Data center
The group’s servers are located in the FRA1 data center operated by nLighten near Frankfurt am Main. Hosting data therefore remains in Germany.
02 · Network
Our servers are connected via a high-performance carrier network (AS48314). Multiple transit providers and direct peering at major internet exchanges ensure short, resilient routes.
03 · Hardware
The hardware we use is owned and operated by the group. This keeps performance, maintenance and upgrades in our own hands.

Principle
For us, owning our infrastructure is a matter of responsibility.
We always know exactly which systems our customers’ services are running on.
A central location in Frankfurt and peering at DE-CIX and AMS-IX keep latency low.
Operations, network and customer service are all in the same hands.
Every improvement to the platform benefits all three brands.
