It all started with KernHosting, today the brand for professional applications. KaisenVPN followed as a VPN service, and KaisenPlay as a dedicated gaming brand – all on the same platform. Kaisen.group unites them under one roof, with consistent standards for operations, data protection and service.

The idea
Three tech enthusiasts from Leipzig decide to offer hosting the way they would want to use it themselves: powerful, transparent and personal.

A platform of our own
Instead of renting capacity, the team builds its own server platform with AMD Ryzen processors and NVMe storage – housed in colocation at the nLighten FRA1 data center.

KernHosting: Trial
The hosting brand begins trial operation. Feedback from testers feeds directly into further development.

KaisenVPN: Public beta
KaisenVPN launches as the second brand – a VPN service on the same platform, free of charge during the beta.

The Kaisen.group umbrella brand
The brands gain a common framework – and the group an identity of its own.

KaisenPlay and a new focus for KernHosting
The gaming brand KaisenPlay takes over the game servers from KernHosting and offers servers for Minecraft, Rust and Satisfactory. KernHosting focuses on professional applications.
